The Department has completed and allocated Bomet and Sotik markets sheds and relocated all the traders from the shanties and roadside kiosks
The department made the most transformative undertaking in March 2018 by relocating the traders from road reserve and stage to the new market. This transformation was done in the main towns of Bomet and Sotik. The department successfully settled over 500 traders in Bomet and over 160 in Sotik. It is evident that Bomet town being situated along the main transport corridor has got a new look.
